Thanks for temporary fix. I had same Issue Quickbooks pro stop working last week after windows 10 update. I saw your message about disable internet connection and program works again. I now just click turn on flight mode when I want to use quickbooks. Once program started you can turn flight mode off again. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. Search the community and support articles Windows Windows 10 Search Community member.
Without pdf use and no printing QuickBooks is useless. Any one have a remedy? BTW, the printer works with other programs.

User's post on August 18, I downloaded Windows 10 on the last free day, and have been running Quickbooks Pro in compatability mode Windows XP Service Pack 3 just fine until last week when a lot of Microsoft updates occurred. What happened during the updates?

What did you do to remedy this problem its freaking me out that I lost all my information. I tried to do the compatibility test and switch it but I get the same error message and then it shuts down. Did you do anything else that worked?
In reply to Josh T's post on October 8, Hope this helps. Have had the same problem on 2 computers since updates were installed. Tried uninstalling updates but that did not work. Have found that if I disable the internet connections the program works fine. Still looking for the full fix though.

I hope that the Windows team realizes whatever they did to mess it up, but you saved my day, and I appreciate your sharing with us.
